Harvest is offering accounts a loyalty discount of 21% off if they stay. Ask what your rate is when the promo ends.
Where these numbers come from
Harvest's usage charge is measured from real world experience: free under $3k a month invoiced, $15 from $3k to $20k, $650 at $200k and up, and $104 at one point in between, read off my own bill. That figure is the redacted row on the Harvest page; the calculator uses it without printing it. Between the measured points we interpolate, and this page says so when it does. The per seat rate is Harvest's cheaper Teams plan at $11. List prices throughout, not the temporary loyalty discount.
The price
That's the entire price sheet. Billed monthly. Cancel one or many users any time.
- Nothing is metered. Not invoices, not projects, not clients, not tasks. No allowances, no overage.
- Your bill is not tied to what you invoice. Bill a client $500 this month or $500,000. Same price.
- There is no usage plan. Nothing layered on top of the seat rate. Nothing that stacks.
- There is no upsell. You don't pay extra to turn metering off, because it was never on.
- Every feature for one price. No reporting tier, no approvals tier, no integrations tier.
- We calculate your bill based on your people. Add someone mid-month and we pro-rate for the days they're there. Remove someone and they're covered through the end of the month.
Two promises, in writing
What it actually does

Also included for the $15: recurring invoices on a schedule, automatic overdue reminders, partial payments, a margin report, an audit log of every change, and two-factor authentication.
Setup takes about five minutes
Add your people, your clients, and your rates, and you're tracking time. Signing up is your company name and an email address.
Coming from Harvest? Export your time entries and before you cancel — here's how. A direct importer is in development.
What it doesn't do
- Take your clients' money. You send the invoice; they pay you the way they already do. We track what's owed and chase what's late — the payment itself never touches us.
- Project management, chat, or a CRM
- Trendy and unnecessary AI features
- Expenses, PTO, scheduling, payroll
- Screenshots or activity monitoring
- Tax lines or e-invoicing formats on the invoices you send
- More than one currency per company
If you need those, this is the wrong tool and we'd rather you know now.
Who built this
I've been running a consulting and staffing company for twenty years, which means I've sent the same invoices you send for as long as I've been in business. I built Tally Whacker when my monthly $22 Harvest bill jumped to $139, and now I use it every month to bill my own clients.
Questions
- What happens to my price next year?
- It's $15 per person, per month.
- What if you get acquired, or stop working on this?
- You get a final export of your data, either way.
- Do I have to give you a card to try it?
- No. Seven days, two fields, email verification. If there's still no card at the end of the trial your account goes read-only. Nothing is deleted, and adding a card unlocks it immediately.
- Can my contractor have their own login?
- Yes, that's the $15. They see their own timesheet and their projects. They don't see rates, invoice amounts, or client billing.
- Can I get my data in and out?
- Out: every report downloads as CSV and every invoice as PDF. A one-click export of everything is being built. In: a Harvest importer is also being built; until then, setup is by hand and takes about five minutes.
- Where is my data?
- In the western United States, in private storage with no public links. Every download goes through a process that checks your company and your role to ensure you are authorized to access it.
- Do you handle sales tax or VAT on my invoices?
- No. Your invoices carry no tax lines and there's no e-invoicing format support. If you're required to file structured invoices, this isn't the tool.
